Shea seeks to revitalize Democrats’ message

“Larry Hogan touts himself as business friendly, and says that Maryland is open for business,” Shea said. “Well, in fact job creation in Maryland has been less than the national average. The whole economy’s getting better, so Maryland naturally improved, but not at the same rate as the rest of the nation,” Shea said, adding that the state’s wages lag “significantly” behind the national average. Shea said that his campaign’s economic plan calls on providing businesses with incentives to create better-paying middle-class jobs.
